Western Horse Association of PEI proudly supports the western riders of Prince Edward Island.

We are committed to promoting the growth and enjoyment of western riding in Prince Edward Island by offering learning programs and a series of horse shows for riders of all skill levels in a safe and positive environment. 

We offer a wide range of divisions to compete in, allowing riders of all ages and skill levels to compete and develop and progress. Divisions of competition include, Small Fry, Green Horse or Rider, Novice, Junior Horse, Youth, Novice Youth, Adult, Open, Speed,  and Reining. We offer other open classes including English Flat classes.

Island Horse Council is now has "First Show – Introduction to Competition"  offering IHC members free entry fees for up to two divisions, for their first show.  For more details, see www.islandhorsecouncil.ca/first-show

Participants are responsible for paying the administration, stabling and bedding fees. When filling out your entry forms, please be sure to read carefully and check the appropriate boxes. Also send a copy of the IHC form in with your WHA entry forms.
